T6.1 new battery and paired through Carista but still coming up with start/stop error on dash

As per headline I've had the error on the dash since i purchased (hate start stop and never use the damn thing) but my battery has been getting weaker and since having it back from being converted to a camper it has appeared to get worse.

I have contacted the company wondering if there was some battery drain somewhere but the system is one that stops charging the leisure battery when the van is turned off.

Where i often do short journeys the battery eventually decided not to start after being left 2 days so i went and purchased a new battery and it seems to be firing over alot quicker (only just installed today mind you haha)

I have paired it with the Carista app but i am still getting the error (not moved from car park since registering the new battery). Any ideas guys? Stressing me out as im worried there is a bigger issue or am i being a fool!

I have attached some pictures of the battery but it appears fine?

Cheers in advance :-)

What fault codes are you seeing or are you just assuming theres an issue ???

I did find this one U103000 local data bus:electical malfunction

It quite often randomly will run high revs also around 1000rpm (i know it does this when regenning which it did 2 days ago on way to work)

The engine will rev higher during a re-gen.
Edit time and have you had the new battery coded into the van or does the van think you've still got the old battery and displaying the old battery circling the drain?

Yeah i went through Carista to pair it / adjust the battery info and it saved ok and yeah i understand the higher revs for the regens but it is doing it quite often outside of regen times :-(

Give it a couple of days for the ECU to relearn the battery capacity?

Might be talking out of my backside, but many of these errors seem to resolve themselves after a bit.

have you definitely got all the cables connected? IIRC, there’s a separate wire (brown I think) that sits alone on the terminal - it only runs start/stop function….i can’t see it in the pics?
