T6.1 lights in my T6

Fitted T6. 1 lights into my T6 only the lower half lights up on side lights. I have repined correctly and the top section comes on when braking. When fitted in a T6. 1 the whole light is lit up and the top part goes brighter when braking. So is it just that the canbus system supplies differently in the T6. 1. Ideally I would like the full light lit on side lights.

Looks same as yours.

And same as advertised.

So the T6.1 just runs the lights different.

They probably PWM control the break light so it's low on sides, then full brightness on break.

Thank you for the reply. As you said different light functions from T6. 1 to T6. Shame that, I wish to stick with oem lights not Thq ones. Hooping a guru could have offered a solution, but I appreciate your imput. Cheers Norton.

Was/is there an option for LED rears on 6.1 with barns doors? I know there wasn't on the 6.

If so, then fakes are the only way. And just like the headlights, there will be copyright against fakes being copies of OEM.
