Could anyone provide a wiring diagram for latest 2021 T6.1 Front Camera (R242) / [2Q0 980 653 B] please?

Have you checked through the 6.1 wiring diagram download section, I dont recall seeing a separate chapter for front camera so possible it’s within one of the other sections that’s already posted ?

Not that I can see.

I'm looking for one that shows the newer 6 wire T12 (8W0 972 112 A) plug pinout to R242 [2Q0 980 653 B], as opposed to the older 8 wire pinout.

OpenPilot / Comma.ai self driving on T6.1?

With the release of sleek new comma.ai comma three devkit I wonder if anyone has looked at installing it on their T6.1? (Unfortunately it doesn't look like T6 or lower are supported as they use "hydraulic power steering", but it looks like T6.1 should be as it uses electric). The VW Tiguan...

Good question! There is some discussion here: Rear view camera without engaging reverse?

I think you may have to setup a manual switch to send the reverse signal to the headunit when driving.

@Robert states it's "easily achievable on T6 highline setup by tweaking coding and adaptations of the head unit", however I'm not sure what those adaptations are.

Hello, good morning. I found a wiring harness for an R242 on AliExpress Front Camera Lane keeping assist Wiring Harness With ACC Adaptive Cruise Control connect For Golf 7 MK7 Tiguan Passat B8 MQB A3 - AliExpress 34 . I checked the installation diagram, and the connections for GND, CAN high, CAN low, fuse box, and windshield resistor are clear. However, I have two extra wires that I don't know where they go. I tried to check if they could be connected to the ACC radar, but I couldn't find any information about it in the radar's wiring diagram. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Yes, it is very simple mod on MQB with highline reversing camera.
