Really good to see so many Transporters of all ages as you walk round the site.
As for the site it’s self! It’s stunning only been here a few days but can’t fault it, great facilities, lovely food and more importantly a well stocked bar.

Yip lovely site. It is on our yearly circuit of sites that we do. And then off to the Bell pub on Bull Street or is it the Bull Pub of Bell Street ? Anyway the food is good

If you like your real ales go up the hill to Aldworth and try the Bell. Go back in time.

Just spent the weekend at Swiss Farm near Henley on Thames, not our normal direction but I’d recommend the Site and area if you like exploring on foot eclectically once static. Town was heaving as preparations for the Royal Rowing Regatta were in full swing and was good to observe ‘in the flesh’...

This appeared to be a nice little run around…

Walked up river and made an offer on a couple of properties…

…but neither wanted their grass cut or windows washed :p

Ventured up into the Chiltern Hills and it was well worth the effort…

The National Trust property at Stonor Park was in a stunningly beautiful setting…

Finally, the amount of Red Kites displaying their prowess all across the area was quite outstanding to see.

Muntjac, Roe and Sika Deer were also seen…

In summary, it was very enjoyable few days and reinforced our growing belief that there are still some unexpected gems almost on the doorstep. Only down point was the very noticeable ignorance of people in general when passing, no eye contact, hello or any acknowledgement of your existence, even in the middle of nowhere… as I always say “Money can’t buy you class… “

Encouraging to see plenty of cyclist’s out n’ about though…

That’s odd, everyone we came across said hello to us.
However, the Cotswolds….
