Would it not be a good idea to split the for sale section into two?
Have a separate thread for vans for sale and everything else on the other thread?
I just think it would be easier for people looking to buy a van and maybe more effective for the sellers.

Basically a sub section just for van sales.

From a personal point it would also make things easier for me who’s happy with my van and always scour the for sale section for goodies for it.

I don’t think there’s a particular problem. It would just make things easier for everyone who uses the for sale section.

Yes, when I posted, I did think it might not just apply to newbies.

Tags are descriptive words or short phrases that a poster can attach to their thread. The idea is that others can then add one or more tags to their search in order to narrow down the results set.

For example, if selling a kombi, the seller might create the tags "selling-up", "kombi", then someone looking to buy a kombi could add the same tags to their search.

How does one go about inserting a tag in a post then? I cannot find any means of doing so.

Add thread title & description/pics as usual, then select the 'More Options...' button (below description field). You'll then be presented with a 'Tags' field (again, below the description field).

Another option might be to have an extra 'Prefix' of 'Vehicle For Sale' as you can easily filter via the prefixes.
