Stitches and Steel Roof Panels

Has anyone got the stitches and steel roof panels? I really like the idea that you can accessorise them, but they don't sell them with the holes cut out for the interior vehicle lights inside my kombi which is a bit of a bugger....... However I've got a friend who's a furniture maker and I wonder if he could cut them out for me (I'd make a mess of it myself).

My other thought is insulating behind it, if it put the bottle insulation behind it, it will probably be visible through the little holes won't it? Has anyone got any suggestions?

£350 seems pricey! I've just got the standard hardboard panels with that suede stuff on ...

Yes I think you see insulation through the holes, suppose you could glue some thin fabric to the top surface to stop that.

Can't see from the SS website what accessories fit the holes?

Ikea Skadis accessories fit the holes, plus there's lots of aftermarket skadis accessories on etsy

My other though was just buying some plain board and screwing a skadis board to it.

I wonder if gluing the fabric to the top side will stop the accessories clipping in as well. Instead of installing LED lights in the panels we were going to get Lumi-Lite to hang, so panels with hanging points would be ideal. -
