Startline To Trendline Bumper Conversion

Hey guys, thinking of getting rid of my one piece plastic start line bumpers at some point down the line and replacing them for trendline or similar colour codes ones.
Is it just a case of sourcing the bumpers and grills and bolt off bolt on?
Presume I'll need a new grill,bumper and bumper vents as the start line one is all in once piece?

Yes thats correct, the bumper and top grille (with the VW badge) are the main components then you will need the three lower grille pieces and the two bottom outside trims that fit either side of the number plate, these are available with or without foglight cutouts
The whole thing is bolt/clip on and off so no major issues swapping over

I’ve just done this (although not fitted it onto the van yet!). For a simple job the cost fairly added up. I got a second hand High line bumper (£140), got it resprayed at mates rates from a friend who owns a spray shop as it was the wrong colour (£65),then with all the trim pieces (£126) I had to purchase and the grille (£215) I’m still in it for £550. And this was me choosing not to install front fogs and just blank them off. So fairly easy job but not cheap for what it is, and would be worse paying full price for everything.

Looks the part though!

I expected it was probably going to be a pricey job but will transform the look of the van, I'll start collecting parts I think!

Hi Guys firstly hello
yet another startline owner looking to convert, so following on from your thread I have a couple of questions which are baffling me I have a hi line front end bought for a very small price as its a little damaged .. which I am just about to start prepping for spray but
1 where do you get the lower centre - outer grilles from I can see the centre long piece but can find the outers?
2 what did everyone do with there rear bumper is it a simple swap over for a t6 primed or can I use t5?

I got the missing trim pieces from @Pauly and for the rear mine is already painted so I’ve left as is for the time being

I have just got the standard black one on the rear .. @Pauly would be interested in knowing prices also for a Radiator Grille been told TPS cheap for but haven't rung them as yet
