Starting Issue

I seem to have made a minor problem into a big problem. The driver's side taillights were not working (Other side was OK), so I swapped the bulbs out for new ones. That didnt fix the issue, checked all the fuses, still didn't work. After checking the fuses, I couldn't start the van (11.6v). It was turning over, but cutting out straight away despite revving and jumping from my friend's car and a new leisure battery I had in the shed. I disconnected the battery and left overnight.

This morning I tried jumping using the leisure battery and it was completely dead, not turning over and no central locking. I've fitted a new battery (12.4v) and still the same results.

Any advice greatfully received and i have access to my neighbours MP808, but I'm not too clued up on its use.

cheers

Sounds like you may have put a fuse back in the wrong place

Check all the empty slots in the fusebox, if it has metal contacts on both sides then there should be a fuse in there

Quite possible. I did have a look at this already. And of course forgot to take a pic before I started.
