Speaker wiring polarity

Would appreciate if someone could help me here.
It seems that on the stock wiring the left wofer speaker has the opposite wiring colors than the tweeters. Is this correct?

I looked in the wiring diagrams, but that didn't state the polarity. I have the brown/blue wire going to the negative terminal for the tweeter, and the brown/blue going to the positive on the woofer.

Did some more research. It seems that the two red/blue should be the positive leads.
If so then, the culprit may be in of these aftermarket adapters which are installed. I think it's got the polarity mixed (red is usually +, right?):

You could d-pin the connector and correct them..

Hey,

I had a similar issue before. Yes, typically, brown or black wires are for the negative (-) side, and blue or red for the positive (+) side. So, the red/blue wires are likely positive leads. The aftermarket adapters might indeed have the polarity mixed up. Check and align them correctly. Speaking of audio setups, I've found some valuable insights and recommendations on this website.
