could anyone tell me which one I would need for a new 204 dsg lwb panel van t30 with davenport alloys? Van not here over Christmas until I go back to work and want to get one ordered...

Pretty good chance it will be the longer one @Kev
Only seen longer ones on T6s so far especially those with Devonports, i have a T32 with devonports and a steel spare and its the long one
If you order one and it turns out to be wrong as long as you keep the bag and bits together i will happily swap it over for you

Thanks Pauly, will order first thing tomorrow, when would I likely get it for? How do I use the member discount? Tempted by the chrome lower strip too, how easy is it to fit? Not sure if I should do chrome or colour the black one...

Have deliveries going tomorrow morning (early as its my sons birthday so going out for the day)
Wheel lock on its own goes RM recorded so good chance of Saturday but cant guarantee that as not sure if posties are on for NYE, if chrome trims are on there then goes by courier so next week as its next working day so prob Tuesday ??

Will do order about 8 in the morning for bolt and have a think about strip...thankss

I have had a look at mine and it is a steel wheel spare with the 2 bolts holding the bracket, but they only measures 60mm approx. You say yours is the long one @Pauly find that strange as mines a T32 withe the same wheels ?

Arr i have had a better look (in the light helps ) the bolt does go way past the end of the thread , dont see why? the smaller bolt would reach , maybe its for a wider spare wheel

Need to get under mine and have good look. I have two different wheel nut keys in the van that came with it, so can only hope that one is for the wheels and the other is for the spare wheel carrier.

Just put the thread of the bolt through the shroud before you screw it in and the shroud will cover the head of the bolt to stop it being attacked/undone with molegrips
Only one bolt can be removed from carrier the other one is captive

Theres a metal cover that can be fitted to protect the bolt head from the elements, the plastic 'nut' and tube go together to remove the metal cover (as its recessed) if you fit it

Does the shroud offer any protection from someone hammering a socket onto the locking nut? Or is it solely to stop it being clamped and undone by molegrips? Looking to add one myself but trying to get my head around it.
