Spare Wheel Cover Bag

Can anyone recommend a spare wheel cover/bag? Needs to hold a 17x7 wheel with a 235/55 tyre

When I carried a spare inside our Touareg on an overland trip we wrapped it in black parcel clingfilm.

easier to just source a spare tire frame and mount it under the van, odds are you won't need it, but it saves carrying it in the van.

I had one shipped from the UK to aussie from eBay UK, so it'll be even easier in the UK

what van you got?

as above, the spare normally sits under the rear bumper externally.

though some vans dont come with the carrier or a spare (Ocean model maybe?)

but you can buy one and fit it yourself.

Our T30 edition didn't come with a spare so have just sourced a new steel spare along with a part worn tyre

Under the van is the obvious choice but heard of a few being stolen, even with the locking nut and shroud, hence thinking about putting it in the van. And if you so want it in a bag

If we do go down the under body route does anyone have their tyre in a bag to prevent it from rusting etc?

Wouldn’t bother with a bag for it f it’s underneath, end of the day it’s the spare and does it really matter if it rusts? You’ll only be using it if the shtf.

Chances are it will rust more in a bag underneath the van as it will just trap the moisture and stay wet
