Sound Deadening

I've removed the ply panels in my camper conversion and the previous owner has fitted Dynamat. It's not to the edge of the panels but most of it. My OCD is saying to get some more and cover the complete panel but will it be worth it. I've read that as long as it's 70%+ of the panel you'll get full affect. Is this true?

I wouldn't worry to much about it, I think the coverage of insulation would concern me more.

I think you've answered your own question really.. providing there is 70% coverage I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you've got money to burn, in which case I'd like a fiamma f45 awning please.

that amount will do the job, its just to stop the panel vibration, and sound transmission

i did 100 % but then i went over the top, and i couldn't help myself.

I put 10mm closed cell reflective insulation foam over the sound deadening, that made a difference.
