Sound deadening around elec sliding door motors

Just wondered if adding sound deadening around where the motors are for the electric sliding doors, deadens the sound of the door 'beeps' when closing?

I know there's no way to disable the beep (apart from manual mode), but carpet/sound deadening could reduce it somewhat?

Assuming it has it’s own audible alarm it has to be easier to put a switch in the alarm circuit.

Not recommend as it can overheat.

There are post on here where people have opened up the casing and put sellotape over the beeper.... From memory it's a small pizo types on the PCB?
