Soporific Knockout Gas Alarms

Can anyone recommend a soporific/knockout gas alarm monitor? Are they easy to install and has anyone been affected by this or wishes they had installed one of these, or is it just scaremongering?
So many questions!

I think the informed consensus is, it’s a myth.

You would have to be a qualified anaesthetist to be able to knock someone out reliably.

A lot of people generally don’t believe that they could sleep through someone breaking into their van. In reality, most people (and also dogs!) sleep very heavily at the deepest part of the sleep cycle, and not much will disturb them.

The Royal College of Anaesthetists are quite often quoted after incidents as saying it is most unlikely, e.g.:
Could Jenson Button's house have been gassed by burglars?

The real answer is keep off of motorway aires and other hotspots, and beef up your physical security.

Many thanks for the advice, good and bad.
I went for this in the end:
The dog will get them anyway.

Only if the dog is wearing a gas mask?

There is a letter on there from anaesthetists. As said above it resurfaces every year or so.
