Normally i pick up the mail in the morning and think bills bills more bills, bloody bills
Today i wished all i had was bills, opened one of two identical envelopes to see Notice of Intended Prosecution, thought to myself why have they sent it twice ??
On the same day in the same part of town 40 minutes apart, what an absolute git, i know its my own fault and i was clearly driving too fast but damn thats unlucky

Shit,M8 Feel for u buddy,,

Not the best start to anybody's day! sorry to hear that...@Pauly It opens up that combi speed limit debate again tho'

Twice on the same day that is just bad luck , would be ok if they just offer you the speed awareness course and take the fine

Ouch. Thats tough. Maybe you could pleed that you thought it was a 40 so in theory only 1 offence..

Looks like you will get 3 points and a speed awareness course for both of those.

Speed awareness limit is 10% +9mph. The 2nd offence you exceed the vehicle given speed so points.

Gutted.

I have only ever been caught by mobile manned cameras in the most insane money making spots.

Already done a speed awareness course just hoping it was over 2 years ago, think it was ?
Im thinking i will return the lower one first and take the fixed penalty incase the bigger one means going to court, at least i will get to have my say

I didn't see the 86mph one it will go to court hefty fine and 3 points better set that speed warning up on the dash Pauly

Sorry to hear that @Pauly i am down on hols your neck of the woods at the moment and think I may have got done too! May have some nasty mail waiting for me when I get home!

They are out every day round these parts, but its all in the name of road safety - nothing to do with revenue generation you know !

Shit the bed Pauly , that is a bummer, Plymouth is a nightmare for the mobile camera and it is on the Plympton / deeplane bridge every week. I saw the van on the bridge just before Ivybridge last SUNDAY !!. Definitely got the golf who went past me doing at least 100 . Keep your eyes peeled , trouble is they can spot you a mile away

When i got done i was overtaking an Audi that im guessing didnt want me to overtake him and he floored it to over a ton i reckon, right past the speed van, hes in a worse boat than me im guessing

Pauly........that's a bummer! My mate is a traffic policeman......and even he thinks camera van operators are scum! Don't bank on the speed awareness course not affecting your insurance......it did mine.....I couldn't believe it after being told you don't have to even declare it......yeh right! My former insurer is the one that has someone wearing a stupid naval hat! I feel your pain mate. Funny thing was, everyone on my speed awareness course looked to have the same background....you know, respectable, middle aged, responsible......generally good citizens who'd just been unlucky!!!

Its scary out there now with mobile cameras and all sorts of stuff around just bumping up their revenue. Its a shame the speed limiter on the T6 cant be set to stop you going above the speed not just showing you when its to late ! My wifes car is like that , easy, just hit 30 or 70 or set what you require and thats it wont let you go over them....

Hey but look on the bright side, if you get burgled, they'll send some one around....... Eventually.....
But who wants to target scum..... When decent people going to work are sooooo much easier to target....

I didnt see the 86mph one either. Oh dear..

Looks like 6 points...:(
