Something to cover sliding window on side doors - T6.1

I was wondering if anyone has come across something that will allow me to keep the sliding window open on my side doors on the T6.1 yet keep the rain out And the door shut. Yes it’s an odd request but it’s unusual circumstances.

@Niknak made something a year or so ago, have a Search.
I was considering making a mini awning that attached to the van with suction cups / magnets to allow the side door to be open in the rain. Basically from B pillar to D pillar and about 0.7m deep. For me it has to be quick and low storage volume when space is limited
