SoLow Low - ferry/car park access issues?

Morning all,

I’m looking at various suspension options at the moment, I really like the look of the SoLow kits and the adjustability of them. I am leaning towards going with the Low kit but running this at maximum height, which is about a 90mm drop overall.

I have a converted T28, leisure batteries etc with an Ovano unit in the back, so not a huge amount of weight. I’m running the 18” wolf race wheels - no plans at the moment to change these..

One question for you guys who have this kit fitted, do you have any real life issues with accessing ferries/car park etc?

Also feel free to post your pictures for inspiration 🙏👍🏻

|Running really low in Europe can attract the wrong type of attention . TUV approval is a big thing there and some Transporter owners have been turned around at the port because their vans were too low .

The H&R Ultimate kit can get to 90 mm at a push and is fully TUV approved for european travel

Thanks for the reply 👍🏻

I run a sportline front bumper also, so that adds to some of the challenge with this level of drop I think.

Good info, appreciated and will check the kit out you have mentioned

Im static at this height on Solow Lows. Been to the Nurburgring twice and done huge trips across France and Switzerland. Never once had an issue with Police or access. It 100% catches on speed bumps so a little care needs to be taken, but it hasn't stopped any of our adventures yet! Dowsons 1 - 2026-72(1).webp
