The price of the panels and the fact that self-installation is possible has resulted in the overall price now being more easily affordable.
The batteries will be the next thing to fall in price, but we're not there yet.
Ecoflow needs some competition in the balcony solar market for sure. I'm not sure what going on with them.at the moment, but they have very poor stock. Might be the sudden popularity due to the situation in the middle-east or maybe they are reserving stock for a big launch in the middle aisle of Lidl......

Yep, will be very interesting to see what other plug-in products emerge. I wonder if Fogstar will dip their toes in the water there, they seem to be the undisputed king of value for money in the large professionally installed battery market.
 
I'd be interested to know what kits other than Ecoflow Lidl and other supermarkets have offered in Europe....

Added my 2 additional panels, one to the pitch and the other gable end mounted. Interesting to see the generation from that one, which should pick up the afternoon and evening sunshine....

Ordered an Ecoflow AC Pro battery unit to give additional storage and the Smart Meter is on back order to early June

The Ecoflow app is saying I'm around 30% grid free at the moment on 3 panels as I need to hook up the last one yet. Need a cable extender....

My usual leccy bill is around 120-140 per month, this month is looking around £85-90 currently.
 
My Ecoflow Smart Meter arrived a couple of weeks earlier than expected so fitted it this morning. Took a little while to get around where to place the CT clamp for it and change a few setting in the Ecoflow app to maximise savings and charging schedules, but got there eventually. All good and no more fiddling with the output and no excess solar going back into the grid.....

Part of this is a Transfer Hub which converts your normal power station, including non-Bluetti, to home solar storage systems. Very interesting.
Things seem to be moving at pace with the big players now.....

Just ordered an additional Ecoflow Stream AC Pro battery to up my home storage. Got £75 off with an ebay discount code......delivery due end of June but hoping it will come earlier....
 
Well that was quick !
My Ecoflow Stream AC Pro home battery arrived this morning with DPD, despite it being out of stock until early July. We'll done Ecoflow Ebay Outlet.
All plugged in, without using a linking cable (not necessary) and charging up nicely with its fully charged big brother.
That's my small set-up complete now and very happy with how it's performing.

1x EF Ultra 1.9kw built in microinverter
1x EF AC Pro 1.9kw
1x EF Smart Meter
