Snowdonia Campsites?!

Stayed here for the best part of a week last year, Llyn Gwynant nice site, open fires allowed but only in proper fire pits with their wood from the shop.
It was very busy when we were there but the facilities coped OK. The lake shore is nice but its a wee walk to the start of the main Snowden paths.
Nice wood fired pizza van onsite and cooked breakfast rolls if I recall right but we made our own.
The road down is also steep and on the way out its a bit of a Hail Mary on to a busy main road.
Its in a steep sided valley so gets shady pretty early on unlike more open sites. 7/10 from me. I would stay again happily enough.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times, very quiet and fairly sheltered site with good facilities.
10 min stroll to bus stop if you want to leave the van on site.
