Sliding Door Step

My van has a van x sliding door step but it doesn’t fit as it isnt deep enough. . Has anyone got the depth of the caravel and California as I was wondering if they are deeper. Thanks

I asked this the other day and I think Pauly said it was 22mm. I’ve got one getting delivered soon so I’ll be able to measure it for you.
I was hoping the VanX step would do it but I’m glad I called them, as their ad was a bit unclear. Which is a shame, as they look OEM and come with the better lights.

That wuld be good thanks. I’m a little unsure of where you need to measure to get the correct one.

My can is a camper so insulated ,played ,then floor floor finish

Can’t remember the exact measurements but there are three versions
PV step which only comes marginally above metal floor and will only handle basic ply floor
Kombi step which is a little bit deeper to accommodate OEM rubber floor in a Kombi
Caravelle step which is deeper again to deal with the extra deep flooring that houses the sliding seat rails
The step/tread base is the same level on all steps so I’m sure between us we can get measurements from tread plate to top of the vertical lip
@Fish @Deaky @StudleyGlass @Loz to name a few that have Cali/caravelle deeper steps can one of you give us the depth measurement please

@Pauly out of interest, how much is it for a caravelle side step and rear threshold (with the insert to accommodate electric latching). We have the caravelle rails fitted in our conversion but with the Kombi steps and they could definitely do with being deeper. Cheers

My steps are about 8/ 8.5 so I assume that they are for a kombi and they don’t sit flat. I must need the caravel one. I have 2 lights in my step can you get this in a caravel step.
