Long time lurker, but this has got me scratching my head…
My exterior sliding door handle has never worked for the whole time I’ve owned my van (2010 T5.1). I have recently sorted this out, though now I have another problem.
I cannot open the door from the outside whilst the door sensor is plugged in. Unplugged, it opens fine but no lock actuation on key press as expected, though when it is plugged in I can hear/feel/see the actuation and the door visibly locks/unlocks from the inside and is openable from the inside, but no movement at all from the exterior handle.
If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.
