Sliding door handle failed

Hey

So obv just had a spout of cold weather and unfortunately I think it’s broken my sliding door handle, won’t open, doesn’t feel like it’s doing anything, what’s likely to have broken and what do I need to order up?

If you lean in the passenger door you can pull the internal handle and make sure thats working (if you have no bulkhead )

Yeh that’s not working either unfortunately

Door panel off job then and see what's going on .

Just had a quick look on you tube, there's a few videos on T5/6 sliding door locks which might be a starting point?

We've had a similar problem. Outside and inside handle not doing anything. There are loads of threads on here that might help - it's worth braving the search and trying to have a look.

One thread that helped me was this one - Slider door not opening on key fob Especially the posts from Niknak. The photos they provided convinced me to take the card off and have a play with the lock. Good luck!

What a timely thread. Mine has just done the same from the outside. Works from the insde. Door card of job for now.

Have the same issue. Need a new lock mechanism by the look of it. . Can anyone point me to where i would get that part? 2016 T6 130bp.
