Hi,
I got a used 2017 Caravelle which has an odd side window issue with it not locking into closed position. This is on the left passenger side, there is no door. When the window is shut, it doesn’t hold the “closed” position and the window slides open at higher speed or if someone pushed the window from outside. I did spot that the window isn’t fully flush on the outside when shut (pictures attached).
I have aleeady replaced the window lock internals incl. springs, etc. using the repair kit but not the rubber seal.
Looking closer at the lock-in holes on the plastic frame, it’s evident that there is no hole for the pins to lock-in at the shut/closed position. The closest one is about 1cm from the fully shut position, I imagine for secure ventilation?! Is this normal, do you have any ideas how is this possible?
Could it be that the curved vertical metal retention at the end of the shut position has moved or bent for some reason?
