THQ camperglass.co.uk flush fit opening window rattle x2.

I've just fitted some new THQ (camperglass.co.uk) limo black flush fit windows. Both windows have the openers.
Unfortunately all the research I did prior to fitting the windows was done regarding leaks and not rattles, I am happy to report they don't leak, so far :)
However, they rattle, my how they rattle :(
They only rattle whilst open and driving, not when closed.
When open you can physically rock the windows and create the noise yourself very easily. Almost like the pins on the runners are of a too small a diameter perhaps?
I thought at first perhaps it was just an air balance issue in the vehicle, so I tried many variation of opening/closing other windows at varying degrees to try and balance the air pressure. Sadly none of this has worked and the they rattle, oh how they rattle.
The locking mechanism catch is also very difficult to use, a pinch operation that seems to be very tight to operate, resulting in one broken finger nail so far, Daughter wasn't very happy there! Yes, they are new springs but there is a limit.
I have contacted THQ with a video of the free play for their comments. Please note, this is just information gathering, as I say I am in touch with the supplier trying to sort the issue.
I was just wondering if this is just a one off or are there any more out there that have similar issues please? Maybe a cure/fix out there?
Hope you can help.

That’s not uncommon with the rear windows due to pressure differential, much easier / efficient to close the windows and run the AC recirculation.

I decided to send mine back as I felt that when the sliding section was open and on one of the catches there seemed to be a lot of play. I was concerned that if travelling with the window open that it would rattle.
Found this on another thread. Now this really does concern me, wish I'd checked them first :( To answer Kennymac, yes they do rattle!

I even went as far as fitting front wind deflectors regarding pressure diffs. That doesn't work either, the fact is they are just a lousy loose fit in the channel, nothing to do with air pressure, just a bump in the road.

Each to there own I guess, I foolishly thought that buying opening windows for both sides of my van would give me the option of opening them on the move. If I wanted to run around with the air con on recirc I would have bought the none opening variant. There is no disclaimer on their website saying windows must be closed whilst vehicle in motion, Lol.
Anyone had this and found a solution please?

Well I thought better of Transporter HQ (Camperglass.co.uk)

Although, a couple of people have warned me away from them recently. Both even suggested that they, Transporter HQ, just buy cheap from China, surely not I said?

Anyway I eventually I got a reply: Bailie (THQ Automotive - Customer Support) <[email protected]>

Hello,

Our fitters advised this is normal when the window is open, the guides for when they are open are much larger than the ones when they are closed.

If there was a rattle when it was closed then there would be a problem

Kind regards.

I will pursue it further now as it is a matter of principle. Be careful what you buy and only use reputable dealers I guess.
