Side Units With 120mm Rib Bed

What width of units will fit with 120mm rib bed and are there any combined sink\hob units available to fit into worktop and fridges to fit into units.

Check out evo motion website, they should point you in the right direction.

Yep, my RIB is a 120. Worktop is 39cm deep and has a Dometic hob/sink combo in it. One thing I hadn't really noticed before is that the worktop is shaped slightly to allow for the window cassette, i.e. uniform 39cm but in front of the window where the hob/sink is this sticks into the van more.

Evo's response to my measurements enquiry:
All our kits are the same width for the 3/4 beds at 42cm . If you measure from the C pillar behind the passenger side across the van at 450mm high ( seat level) you have 118cm to the sides of the units. You should able to check if you bed will work.
I've got 7.4 units fitted and the measurement between the furniture and the nearside above the rear wheel arch is 1205mm so a 1200 bed could be a cosy fit :-)

Measuring as above, I have nearly 124cm to cupboard side - there is about 1cm giggle room but, once you start eating into this, operating the handles to flip (located on the passenger side of the seat) would be very difficult. Also, whilst the bed frame and seats are 120cm, the handle adds around another 2cm to the width at the point being measured above, consequently, if you have less than 122cm to play with, measured from the C pillar, it's fair to say a 120cm RIB wont fit.

Digging up an old thread but it's the most relevant I could find.

Struggling to work out where to measure from to see what will and wont work with our fixed Stide seat. It is 1145mm so slightly wider than the usual RIB 1120. From my guesstimations, the furniture suited to a RIB 112 should work but it's a risk.

Can anyone share pics with measurements of evomotiondesign furniture please?

JUST MY OPINION - it's a lot of cash so get lots of points of view on this.

If you buy furniture for a RIB 112 and construct it as a first fix, its a case of strategically and carefully scribing the extra 15mm off the back of the unit.

It's not a risk. It wont fit at all. But if you have a jigsaw and a steady hand you can trim it back and the cut edge will be hidden.

You will need to dismantle to do the cuts in a controlled manner and lots of 3d thinkin required.

Additionally - mask off the edges before scribing to highlight your cut line and also protect your finish

Sorry I'm Badj-splaining...

I had considered that and it is still an option.

The main thing I'm missing is a reference point for where to measure from.

I've read that the units are 420 deep. From the C Pillar on the drivers side, I have at least 440mm.

It is quite a struggle to get this right. On my T5.1 I have a California sliding double bed seat which I measure at 1150 (supposed to be 1140) & EVO5 PRO (front section) side units (have now added the back cupboard) which are about 43cm at bedseat height. I have a 1cm gap between the two, but also a small gap on the near/sliding door side to allow the seat to slide.

I remember when I planned it there was a lot of head scratching and discussion with Evodesign to make sure they fit. Evodesign were super helpful making sure I got it right. Genuinely brilliant company to use. I had to pull the side galley quite tight to the offside van wall at the front using bolts (prefitted facing out, locked in with a nut first). Same at the rear but actually with spacers to get the furniture parallel to the seat rails/lines in the floor.

I think if the bedseat fitter had fitted the rails 1cm towards the offside I would have had a problem. I had the bedseat fitted before I fitted the side galley which helped. I wouldn't want to scribe the Evo stuff as it would be a huge pain.
