Sick of waiting!!!!!

hey guys what sort of lead times did you guys have on your spec vans? I'm sick of waiting now, I'm up to 7 weeks

7 months for me. At that time that was short. Some waited nearly a year.

Best advice I can give, make a hole somewhere or use under the stairs etc and do some retail therapy.. Build up the stock of bits to fit in the meantime...

Vw make there own build time scales up, so its just guess work really. Mine was 8 months.

@Samgough I ordered mine on Feb 23 and was given a confirmed build week of w/c 17th April earlier this week.
Dealer says I should be picking it up by the end of May which works out about 14 weeks.
204 dsg Kombi, 4 motion etc

Last year wait times were quite long but 12-14 weeks seems a bit more typical now but you never know until your dealer gives you a confirmed build week

I ordered this week and was told average of sixteen weeks wait ...feels a loooong time ...that was for a four motion DSG Kombi
