Shuttle - passenger window

hello folks, is it possible to lock/disable the electric window on passenger side? (Shuttle T6.1) was expecting an obvious button but can’t see one

Permanently or temporarily?
From driver's door switch perspective or passenger?

hello Robert, ideally control from driver side to stop my disabled/ADHD son opening/closing it all the time

To control it from driver side you would need to wire in a sort of kill switch. It will be very non OEM and a bit of hassle pulling wiring across the vehicle.

To disable it permanently from passenger side you could simply pull the plug out of the passenger window switch.

Having VCDS it would be worth looking through adaptations of Address 09: Cent. Elect.

And then coding of these 2 subsystems.

Drivers Door Control Module:
Subsystem 1

Front Passengers Door Control Module:
Subsystem 2

There is only 3 Bytes in each(so total of 24 ticks).
Even if labels are missing I would play with those.

Always remember to save your original settings just in case.

Thank you so much for your reply Robert.

Could I remove the passenger side physical control button (replace it with a blank/cover) but still have control from driver side?

You can and functionality from driver switch should remain in place.
I have never seen blanks for these window switches so I doubt they exist.

I would do as Robert suggests above, you can prise the control panel out of the door card and then simply remove the connections from the back of the switch. It will look completely standard but the button will be permanently disabled. It is very simple and literally a 5 min job.
