Shuttle Air Con Removal

Hi all. I am about to remove the air con unit from the rear of a shuttle. Does anyone know of the air con for the cab will be impacted by the removal of the rear air con?

Many thanks,

Neil

If you have the rear evaporator behind the rear wheelarch, it's pipework is connected to the front A/C unit, so you will need to de-gas the system using a refrigerant recovery unit (it's illegal to release the gas to the atmosphere). then in order to keep the front system operational, the rear pipework would need to capped off and the system re-charged.

Hi I’m trying to remove mine, does anyone have exact location to cap off ac lines to rear? Do they have to be linked together underneath? I’m stuck on my build until this is done

Thanks for that advice, will need to do that with mine as I'm going to be putting the HVAC unit back in with relocated vents.
