Air conditioning

Hi all, just a quick one…. After a little advice.

I’m two weeks away from having my van fully converted , my only issue is that i have no air con

As I’ll have a leisure battery etc, I was wondering if any of you know of a suitable air con unit that can be used in the back of a camper that can run of the leisure battery ?

Any help on this would be ace

The power consumption of Aircon means it's only practical for EHU use.

Also the physical size is likely impractical in a van as small as a T6/6.1 - though I think it's an option on the Crafter based VW Grand California's where you can mount it on the fixed (non pop top) roof.

For T6/6.1 you're generally in more traditional territory of fans and ensuring you have shade and ventilation - there's a reason the traditional two tone is white on top!

Our Australian members might know of some options as they have to deal with more extreme heat.
