Bought it in 1994 and sold many years later, still on the road apparantly.
Not my first, but sold my splitty about five years ago and regretted it ever since@superflyguy ; wow what a stunner!
My first was a 1986 mk2 Golf GTI.
Then a mk3 GTI 16v
Then a mk4 R32 Golf
Then a long gap until our old 2012 California 180 4motion
And now the 204 4motion.

During a moment of madness , and a conversation with a bottle of red, I purchased it up front and with it being in California I'd not seen it only photos. Six months later it turned up and I picked it up from the local dock.
It wasn't anything like in the photo, but all original. It took three months to get it looking how I wanted it, I can't take credit for doing the work though.
I was only doing about 500 miles a year so wasted on me really, it's now in Germany with its new owner, and yes regret selling it, and sold it at a giveaway price compared with recent prices.
Also owned two beetles & a T5
110 defender , and just trading in my A6 s-line for the T6, and love it, just need to start spending some cash on it now !!

Yes it sure is. I didn't it the sloppers on though aand was going to change her to uprights but never got round to it.
