Service, timing belt and water pump costs

Evening,
So I've just been quoted £650 by a local garage to carryout a full service and timing belt and water pump replacement using all genuine VW parts. This includes
*Oil filter
*Air filter
*Cabin filter
*Fuel filter
*Replacement oil
*Brake fluid change
*Timing belt & water pump kit

What do people think of this price?

Pretty cheap - I had my pants pulled down by a VW "specialist" in Manchester and paid around £900 - then they found that my crankshaft seal needed replacing which added another £300+ to the bill

Had an issue with a sensor since which I'm trying to resolve with them at the moment

Will name them if it doesn't get sorted !

VW will charge you that alone for the TB + WP aspect alone.(And warranty the parts and labour for 2yrs)

Carful if you are in warranty period as it needs to be done by the book or future warranty claims may be rejected.

If you out of warranty then fill your boots.
