Seat position adjuster

My friends dog kindly chewed the passenger seat adjustment handle which I have received a new one. Anyone have any experience on how to get it off as it seems to be stuck fast with no fixings holding it on?
Is it simply pulling it off? (no dirty jokes

It is that straight forward - there are three tabs that hold it on to the metalwork by just a few millimetres.

A good old tug is what you want.

sorry, it is the one under the seat that adjust forward/backward motion. Thanks though

Hi revdecal
My dog managed to pull my wheel off, and now I can't seem to get it back on again. I push it in, lining up the splines, but it just falls off again.
Any advice welcomed!
