Seat covers. T6.1 highline 2022

Hi. I've recently purchased my new transporter T6.1 campervan and I'm looking to protect ( primarily) just the drivers seat with a nice but hard wearing seat cover. I'm guessing you have to buy the passenger ( 3 seat ) covers too though?
The internet has loads but they all look quite average and don't look as if the fit very well.
Does anyone have any recommendations please. I'm new here so apologies in advance if this topic has been commented on frequently?
I'm also looking for some security ideas against van theft, break in etc. I have a tracker and steering lock?

VW TRANSPORTER T6/T6.1 SPORTLINE CARAVELLE FRONT SEAT COVERS (2015 ONWARDS) 1172

I just fitted these off fleebay they are a decent fit but pig to fit as they’re tight and the backs stuck out a bit when fitted but once warmed up after a couple of days use they settled in and have sportline embossed on them that doesn’t show in the picture but I’m pretty pleased with them hthIMG_0388.webpIMG_0389.webp

Yes similar to those, they have loads of different styles to choose from and come in different sets depending on what type of layout you have. You can also request pretty much any colour of stiching. Some come with the VW in the head rest and some in the back of the cover. Can be a bit of of faff fitting them but then all seat covers are the same.

Seller responds quickly.

As I said above I've had 3 sets of him with no issues.

Thanks for all the info guys..the leather inn covers do look good quality..I think I will settle on them. My first few days on this forum so thanks to everyone who responded.

Not sure if you’re after ‘posh’ covers but I fitted genuine OEM VW water resistant covers on my T6.1 from new. Very hard wearing. Look the part for me as I like the ‘industrial vibe’. Though not for everyone. Excellent fit and protect when I’m jumping in and out after walking the dog etc.

After a lot of procrastination, I finally went for one of the cheaper set of covers from Transporter HQ. I posted pictures in another thread (below) and am still very happy with them about 2500 miles miles later.
I bought a set of Transporter HQ 2+1 pleather and blue tartan covers last week and got them completely fitted afternoon (after a minor mishap - see below). Despite the title of the thread, I'm certainly not suggesting that they're the best seat skins but IMHO they're pretty good for £160. And yes @RogueOne they do indeed have the air pocket and bridging from the seat side bolster but, personally, I can put up with that. As an aside, Transporter HQ were a pleasure to deal with - I managed to make a small tear in the back of the passenger seat cover which was probably repairable but annoying just the same so I phoned THQ to talk about potentially buying just that part as a replacement. After a short telecon with them at 1715hrs last Friday, they asked me to send a picture of the damage which I did. Bearing in mind that they were supposed to be closing for the weekend at 1730 hrs, I quickly received an email response telling me that they had ordered up a free of charge replacement that would be with me this week. I was quite surprised earlier this afternoon to receive a new complete set by courier. That's what I call customer service of the highest order - A lot of other firms, including many VW dealers would do well to learn from them.

I'm thinking of asking Mrs D for a set ofr the THQ GTE covers for Crimbo.

@Sasquatch. Reminds me of the time that I told the Mrs that I would buy her a Le Creuset Casserole Dish for Christmas and she promised to beat me to death with it if I did.

We've fitted the blue tartan THQ covers on our seats since we bought the van. 20,000 miles later in a daily driver and they're still looking good. My only comment would be, like many T6 things, THQ have not taken in to account the minor variation from T5 and the headrests in T6 are slightly bigger so a real pain to get the covers on. Sold as a T6 set, but still have T5 on the packaging when they turn up.
