Salop Vans Review

Hi All,

Just wanted to give my first hand experience to date after purchasing a t6.1 from SV.

I read a couple of negative reviews about the after sale support so wanted to provide my positive experience, as you tend to find people are always more inclined to leave a negative review rather than a positive.

After collecting the van and driving for a bit I noticed an issue with the clutch and a rattle from the DMF.

I’m a 3.5hr journey from them so ater a few phone calls with one of their mechanics called Nick to run through some troubleshooting he got me booked in for the clutch, dmf and release bearing to be replaced on the weekend. They booked out the workshop for the day and got the van turned around quickly without fuss under their back to base warranty.

The van has done 90,000 and I imagine some other garages may have excluded this from their warranty under wear and tear but Amanda and Nick didn’t hesitate to get it done and simply apologised for the fact I had to bring it back which was very refreshing.

I bought our 71 plate T6.1 from Salop vans nearly 4 years ago ever had any trouble and the six seat leather conversion is outstanding everything they fitted to the van was top notch.p

I keep looking at vans on their website for when the time comes I can hopefully pull the trigger so great to know they are doing a good job. Their vans look good and seem to be well priced, though trying to wade through the specs of each on their website can be a pain, so I tend to just drool over the pictures!
