The connection isn't an issue, a quadlock adapter would solve that and it's easy enough to move the couple of pins that don't match up, but I've just had a look at it on ebay and it does look a bit dated with a tiny screen.
I have been recommending the RCD330+ as it's half the price and a much bigger screen, but it has no DAB and I've been having some Carplay disconnection issues.
