reversing sensors on a highline

Hi,

I've picked up my T6 Highline with factory fitted rear parking sensors and noticed that when I reverse it beeps like it supposed too but keeps beeping even when I'm in neutral. I have to put it into gear or touch the screen to stop the beeps. Is that normal, my golf and most other cars stop beeping when you go from reverse into neutral.

It seems to have a bit of a long delay before the beeps turn off, i agree it should stop quicker but doesnt unless you drive forwards or touch the screen

Having spent a few more days with the van, there must be a way to reduce the reversing time out that is frankly ridiculous.
