Reversing Camera And Sensor Compatibility

Hi guys,

Looking for some advice on whether my head unit will support me adding OEM reversing camera and front parking sensors. I have a composition media 6.33” screen, part number 5K7035200K. I’d like to add the camera and front sensors and have it all integrate into the screen display. I have rear parking sensors already and these display a graphic on the screen.
Is it possible with this head unit please?
Are there cheaper alternatives that will integrate in the same way?

All T6 headunits can accept a reverse camera. Just the basic one needs a expensive interface and takes more work to install

Hi guys, Just came across this and is just the conversation I was going to start!

I've also got the same head-unit (5K7035200K) and have just had an OEM RVC retrofitted fitted, but when Reverse is selected, the screen changes to a black screen with no video feed being displayed, so not much good to me! Also get a message appear with 'The ParkPilot is currently not available.'

I've got Rear sensors fitted as standard, and looking to also add OPS front sensors shortly, but aren't fitted yet. The garage that fitted the RVC mentioned there was already something plugged into the blue plug but didn't know what it was or where it went in the van.

@Absolut5 - Do you have a link or any info on what the interface is that I'd need to get it working?

Trying to avoid having to fork out on a new head-unit so any help would be hugely appreciated.

Check out these guys and/or send them an enquiry regarding what kit you need. They are very helpful. Most of the kits on the webpage show which head units they are compatible with.
You will need to have it coded once fitted…

We can supply the correct interface , but they are not cheap
