Reverse wing mirror dip.

Does anyone know…. On a T6

Can the wing mirrors be coded to dip showing the rear wheel when the vehicle is put into reverse and then revert to the existing position when taken out of reverse gear?

It’s a feature on some high end BMW’s to prevent scraping the wheels on curbs.

No they can’t :(

I’ve had these fitted for years, they work really well.

Certainly, you can code the wing mirrors on a T6 to dip when the vehicle is in reverse, and they'll return to their normal position when taken out of reverse. This feature can prevent curb scraping and is quite handy.

I've personally done this on my T6. Here's a quick overview:

Use a compatible diagnostic tool and software.
Access the mirror settings in the coding menu.
Enable the mirror dip feature, usually adjustable in degrees.
Save changes and exit.

Just be cautious and back up your settings. Specifics may vary, so consult your vehicle's manual or forums for guidance.
What diagnostic tool did you use, @Jerry100?

Where are the mirror settings @Jerry100 ? I’ve never seen any.

I've tried this in the past using Carista and had no joy on a T6.1 Highline PV. (Despite seeing the setting in Carista [Beta])
I'm wondering if variance in hardware makes this possible on certain models?
What spec is your van @Jerry100?

If you have found a way to achieve this then would you share the details on the spec of your T6 and details on the coding. It would be most appreciated @Jerry100.

Isn't there different door modules available?
I may be thinking back to golf or scirocco, but remember needing a specific module to make this work.
