Replacement Front Bumper

Hi, I am running a Startline converted to a camper. When I bought the van the front bumper including the lower grill had been sprayed candy white. This hasn’t been done very well and paint is starting to flake off (see image). I was thinking about buying a highline bumper, adding the sport line section from the old bumper and then getting it sprayed. Also, adding a gloss black lower and upper grill to get a look a bit like the other image. Would this be suitable?Fits VW Transporter T6 2015- Front Bumper Without Washer Holes Smooth Primed

Or would I be better buying a complete secondhand VW one from eBay. If I am looking at completely the wrong style bumper any advice would be great.

The other thing I was considering was maybe getting the whole bottom of the van wrapped and leave the Startline bumper on there. Anyone had a half wrap before? Any ideas on price?

Thanks for any advice!

I went for a complete new bumper, and all new grilles.

Was around £500 including painting and all the associated grilles and trims.

It was an aftermarket one. £99 on eBay at the time. It’s ‘ok’ but not perfect. I had to get the splitter to cover up the lower section as it was quite wonky from the manufacturing process.

Hi, I'm in exactly same position needing to replace the very badly painted standard startline bumper. What kit did you buy ? I've found one from RDX Styling that looks right but twice the price of yours. Im happy to pay that if quality is good though. I already have a splitter although undecided if I want to put it back on.

This was the bumper I purchased

It’s a pretty good fit, you / the painter just needs to go around and remove some of the plastic flashing from the moulding process to help the clips fit
The primer was very good and didn’t cause any problems for the painter to go straight over.

The only bit I wasn’t happy with was the lower bit that sits under the van, again that’s why I went with a splitter to hide it.
