Removing front bumper

Please forgive me if this has been covered before,
But does the bumper just pull out at the sides or do you need to undo any fasteners.

Apologies that this is an old post but this seemed to be the best place to post...
Does anyone know where to get a trim clip that keeps the wheel arch lining in place pls? I don’t mean the clip behind it, the one that goes actually in the lining where you undo the 3 x T20 screws when you take off the bumper. Broke mine today. Oooops

I’ve tried eBay and lots of other places and yes, there are lots that are for carpet lining but I’ve tried those and they don’t fit the wheel arch as they’re a different size.
Any ideas?

have you tried VW parts some of the spares are very cheap, not everything from them you need to donate a kidney for

and they might hold them in stock

They're the same as the clips that hold the top of the grille. My local VW dealer had some in stock when I broke one.

I’m not sure they are the same as the ones that hold the grill, I seem to remember them being beefier than those ones.

I had the same issue and I think I’m still running with one clip missing

Thanks all. I’ll give VW parts a shout I reckon. I don’t think they’re the same from the top of the grill....they look different to me. I’ll pull one off though and see if it fits .
First DIY job I’ve ever done and surprised myself I only messed up this bit. The nice new Transporter HQ V3 DRL headlights were definitely worth it.

Definitely not the same as the grill ones, the arch ones are thicker

Same here, definitely different. I broke one as well, but doesn't seem to matter. But then, I measure my arch gap in feet, not mm

You're right. I checked mine. Same style of clip but definitely thicker. Not sure if you've seen this but it's handy for looking up part numbers.... VW SUPPLY

Nice one...could you post a link pls? Had a look at the website and not too sure which they are.

Sorry @benjemison , my friend is a vw specialist with his own garage and that was where we done the Led retrofit. He deals with Tps for parts virtually every day so he just phoned up and explained what he wanted and they delivered them. I could probably get you a part number on Monday when he is back at work if you have not got sorted by then. Just let me know

Anything you can get would be helpful

The clip is a piece of junk, spent more time faffing with the clips than anything else. Have left the clips off for the time being, but would like to put them back in ideally
