Removing Altro/Ply Flooring

Has anyone removed a fitted floor from their van? Im guessing its going to have been bonded down as its not a factory floor, its been lined and Altro put down.

I'll need to remove it to go with the Mobiframe system but really not sure how to go about it with the glue/bond

I have to admit I didn't take too much notice when mine was removed, but I think they just used brute force to rip it out then cleaned the residual glue off best they could. That bit probably took longer than fitting the new floor.

I did wonder if its just a crowbar job ha ha

Just get a wedge under the corner of the outro and then peel it back.

If you're lucky the adhesive won't be super mega strong and it should peel easy.

Then with the wood it may be screwed down or it may be bonded down, you might need to get a tile scraper attachment on a hammer trail and chisel it off.

For the Record on my van I glued down the Packers with tiger seal and then just sat the 9mm ply sheet on top of that, I didn't glue or screw just let gravity do its thing.

Are there new simple carpet spray glue adhesive for the outro.... So in future at any point it should all come out fairly easy.... Well there's now a ribbed and a kitchen installed on top of it so we don't go in anywhere soon.
