Remap or not?

From what I read getting the DSG remapped gives good results. And that wasnt from CGPT although I admit I use it a lot also.

Mines down as an automatic on the log book but it’s a 6-speed manual!

The power in Kw is on the V5 Registration Document, right above the VIN.
If I’m buying a vehicle the first thing I check is that the VIN on the V5 matches the vehicle VIN.

Are you sure the vans VIN matches the V5 VIN?

Yup

Obviously it doesn’t say DSG anywhere on the van/etc. But on the log book it says automatic, so if you do a reg search for parts etc, it comes up saying it’s an auto.
That’s literally the only discrepancy.
