I have a similar looking fridge to the THQ one, it is wider and not as deep as the standard Dometic. To allow my Reimo3000 to slide past, I cut that Y shaped brace out, and pushed the fridge back into the void. I needed to rebate the side of the cupboard to let the door open.

THQ sell a flush fit surround frame so the fridge sits flush with the units , but you will need a wider unit to fit this frame with the fridge
Has the outer door got provision to allow air to flow under the fridge so convection can cool the condenser?
My Dometic has rubber feet on the base, I can put my fingers underneath. The same clearance above the back of the fridge to allow warm air out.

I was having fridge overheating issues initially, after a couple of months of fridge installation I put an additional vent in the left hand panel behind the drivers seat to allow heat to escape. No issues since.
We have gaps all round. Plastic feet raise it 15mm up. The rear is open to the void in the wall with lots of gaps for intake and exhaust BUT...
Yes. I am going to buy some little vent grills and multitool out some holes - one upper and one lower. The AC charger is in the wall void also so I'm having all the vents I can for to let it breathe.
If anyone knows of some dinky little vents or can suggest anywhere I'd be grateful

If you need vents in the units , use those round soffit vents, easy to use a hole saw than trying to jigsaw out a square, spray paint in matching colour if you don’t want white or brown

Any grilled vent reduces the cross sectional area, a smaller simple slot with a router or series of holes maybe less visible for the same air flow.

Just gone back and looked. Turned out I didn’t cut that brace, I cut the hardboard panel so it went into the void space.
The fridge is this one (though from a different vendor). It’s wider, but not as deep as the regular Dometic.
Here is the panel before fitting it, then later on you can see it in place.

Started the kitchen build. I had to set part of one panel back behind the fridge, to gain the last few millimetres so the fridge will clear the sliding bed. The panels are cut and scribed in, and the front edge of the 18mm Garnica routed and inset with 9mm poplar ply. Just offered up now to check it all fits.

I'm not takin the seat out and the fridge to use the hole saw. A rectangular vent top and botttom suits the look I'm going for. Black vent on a black sided unit will be fine and I'll happily contort slightly to nibble out the hole with the multitool with vacuum crevice tool wedged under firdge to pull any dust out. Easy!
This is a Dometic/Waeco fridge I fitted in a very old promotional van (about 10 years ago) just in the workshop for a refurb - basically leave about 50mm on the right for the door to open then attach the dometic fridge door to the cupboard door with some integrated fridge door sliders (amazon/ebay etc) It's not ideal in a camper as you lose valuable space!
