Rear Parking-Sensors stopped working

hi all
My parking sensors seemed to have stopped working, since I removed both front seats, and I replaced the rear bumper. I did notice a wire under the front seats that I didn't remember where it went, but not sure what seat it went under as it seams long enough to go under both.
Any help would be really appreciated .

Hi.
Wonder if anyone can help me please.
My reversing sensors , did wok until I removed the rear bumper. I reconnected all the multi plugs, and have double checked them. Is there a reset procedure I need to do on the head set ?

What's happening now?

If you press the PDC button?

If there are any faults with the system it will not function.

Ie any sensor or plug not fully seated.

Carista or VCDS can give you a fault code to see if there is a problem.

Ok. What is the setup?

Got a few pics?

Is it just rears?

Did it automatically switch on in reversing gear?

Do you get a display on the radio?

Is it OEM or aftermarket?

We have the reversing sensors schematic in the download section.

I'll dig out the link.

The loom runs from the PDC controller via a join point under the front seats.

Then on to the rear D pillar.

Then onto the rear bumper loom to the sensors.

Parking sensors circuit diagrams

Any fault will cause the PDC to beep and cut off.

You can hear a very high pitched clicking noise from the sensors when they are active.... with you ear up close.

Very interesting.
When I was fitting my swivel seats, I noticed a spare wire which TBH, could of sat under either seat, but I have left, perhaps that is the missing link.
I did have a listen to the PDC, and noticed two, never sang to me, so I will start with them.

Strange that you say you have no PDC button on the dash?.... I thought if you had PDC from factory you had the button....?

Maybe you have a dealer fit optional extra that doesn't have the button?

@Pauly may be more knowledgeable on this .....

I have double checked and I don’t have that button.
I have a 2 year old high line 4 motion

You only get a dash button with front sensors, standard vans with rear only don’t get the button
A VCDS scan will tell you any faults present
