just had the same kind of noise. Thought it was the DMF, they changed it with the clutch (expensive job...) and it ended up being the auxiliary drive belt. I have read this belt should have been changed at the same time as the timing belt but it was not. So I ended up changing the DMF too early.
Here is the timeline:
202k km: change timing belt
225k km: change auxiliary drive belt
DMF was used but was still good to go...
