Radio Turning Itself Off Then On Again

VW currently have my Shuttle as the radio and dash usb keeps turning off and straight back on again. They say they can’t fix it as there aren’t any fault codes coming up. They have said that they have checked the wiring and all the connections seem fine.
Has anyone else had any similar problems?
(It’s the original radio no sat nav in a 16 plate t6
I’ve also noticed that once it has turned itself off then back on the front/ back fader option disappears and you can only use left/ right.
Does the power feed for the usb on dash on the left of the radio come from the radio as it turns off then on at the same time?

I have a similar fault on my MK4 Golf at the moment. I had the head unit checked, no prob, but in a chat with the tech geek outside he suggested it is probably a short on one or more of the speakers that's making the head unit reset itself. Does it reset with a higher volume or a harder beat?

My T6 goes thro' stages of this. Sometimes 4-5 times a day. Then a few weeks no issues. VWCV had it for a day. Predictably, they found nothing. Suggested that it may be my I-phone causing it.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i wouldn't mind if mine switched back on :) My t6.1, with the original VW unit, has now switched the music off on it's own twice. Just driving along and the music stops and the whole unit goes black - no clock or anything. Stop, switch the engine off and on again and everything is ok.
