T5.1 Heater Control and Radio being odd

Ok, anyone got any idea what's going on with this?

Symptoms are:
- Heater buttons work, but the functions cut in and out after a few seconds. Very odd.
- Radio reversing camera has stopped working since this started happening.
- Also the radio (rcd360) doesn't turn on/off with ignition like it used to.

I think it started happening after I replaced the leisure battery.....

All connections behind the panel seem ok.

Personally I'd go with disconnecting the RCD360 headunit. These finest Chineseium products are known to cause havoc with things even when they work correctly. When they start to fail they do alsorts of strange things on the canbus network which interfere with other systems.

I'd say swapping the leisure battery is pure coincidence.

If the above doesn't work plug a diagnostic tool in as it should throw some faults up

Thanks @Dav-Tec, great suggestions. Once the RCD330 was detached the heater controls behaved themselves, so it's entirely likely it was causing the issue.

However, I also noticed a bare blue wire behind the controls/under the stereo which was chopped at some point and _could_ have been shorting against the case of the unit. I've clean cut it and insulated the wire, then went round and used contact cleaner on all the heater controls and radio connections, put it all back together and now heater controls and radio (including reversing camera) are all OK now. Glad to have aircon back this weekend, so thanks again for the suggestion.

No idea what the blue wire is but this van is ex-police so could be anything.
