Radar Sensor on Startline front bumper

hoping its not ride to ask an associated question on this;


I’ve a 2019 Startine that has the front radar/distance sensor but would like to fit an EU approved A Bar to the front like in the attached picture.
Does anyone know for sure if this will cause a problem with the sensor working/display errors etc?

The sensor on my 68 plate startline is knackered.
Obviously took a smack off something before I got it.
It’s not positioned properly and always comes up on scan but since I don’t have ACC I’ve not bothered to fix it.
I’ve never had any problems from it other than it coming up on a scan.

I don’t have your answer, but my mind immeaditely made me think of testing it with some PVC pipe first.

Crudely tape some pipe on, in roughly the correct locations, go for a drive. It might help answer your question. Your neighbours might think you’re a lunatic though.
