RAC van - unsure??

Hi everyone, new to the forum. Plan on buying an RAC Van from a van centre in south wales next week. £17500 inc VAT with 110,000 miles on the clock. Everything seems good so far, drives excellent, comes with fresh MOT and service, new waterpump/cambelt etc.

One thing that’s bugging me, is the van hasn’t been MOTd or taxed since October 2022.

The van is in excellent condition, but just unsure as to why there’s 6 months missing in its history.

Any ideas anyone?

Could just be a waiting game. By the time it gets decommissioned, sent to auction, wait to be sold, sat on forecourt, been repaired could all add upto the 6 mths.

I agree as long as everything else adds up old service history and mots etc I wouldn’t be put off by this

Thanks both, needed the reassurance! Had a chat with them on the phone today and they basically said the same thing. Full service and MOT history so hopefully picking it up on Tuesday
