as it says just out of curiosity where is the best place you have worked
I will start it off then
Installing all the electrics, control panels and pneumatics for new larger line Korev @ St Austell brewery Cornwall getting into the tasting room on a Wednesday night coming out half cut then going back to the digs which was above a pub in fowey Oh I enjoyed that contract :)

Been working from home for the last 9 years. The last four have been overlooking Polzeath beach which isn't bad.
Done some good work trips over the years; Finland, Berlin, Lacanau, Ericeira, rural Britanny and more. All good.

I went to St Austell college opposite that Brewery! Now live very near Sharps.

Really nice part of the country would move down there 2moz if I could , that tasting room is leathel was trying all the real ales before there alcohol percentage was lowered, they were building new apparents opposite the brewery last time I was down there working think 2013
Just looked up Polzeath beach looks lovely

Thats a good question so many places over the years
Probably PML - Plymouth Marine Laboratories installing new fibre/copper networking through whole building learning about all the experiments going on in labs and seeing what they get up to

Many breweries seem to do "posh" ales that are flipping lethal (and pricey)!

Definitely nice here, especially when it quietens down a bit.

It's always good when the people you are working for take the time to show you what they do and explain why,
Done a few anorobic digesters not the nicest of jobs especially chicken meithan gas but asking the chp commissioning engineer how it worked and learning how the chp creates energy to feed back to the grid was great

Worked all over the world for this government and also America's
And best leave it there..........
Is it like if I told you I would have to kill you !
I did 6 years building warrior and challenger tank engines and transmissions also TT and terrier for a firm that had the mod contract but wasn't that interesting but made some good £ and it was a 4 day week Monday to Thursday and as much overtime as you wanted :geek:

image.jpeg NTL early days before it was Virgin Media near Winchester, old country estate nestled in the Hampshire countryside, village down the lane but if that was too far to get to the pub, the social club had its own bar next to the restaurant!

For fun, it was at avondale caravans. Great buch of lads, but no career prospects.

For job satisfaction its my current job. Work as a senior service engineer for a boiler manufacturer.

Best site was probably project managing a major refit of the Met Police forensic labs at Lambeth. Access all areas with it all going on around us was fascinating. Even got a visit to the Met's Black Museum.

Nicest would have been project managing the lab fit out for Institute of Biomolecular Research in Pomezia, just south of Rome. We had a really nice appertment block on the beach for the duration.

Best job - being "retired"
